High Performance Teams
Each team develops its own language, its own rules and its own energy field. We pay attention to the power of differences between employees and make clear what each person can contribute to the team. In this way, our training strengthens mutual understanding and the bonds within a team. We work with communication ‘above the waterline’ (focusing on content and arguments) and ‘under the waterline’ (focusing on what happens with colleagues or customers). Paying attention to reasons for resistance and the possible interests of others, discussing the process rather than content and empathy are important keys to successful relationships.
Possible training modules:
- Strengths: What is your greatest quality and how can you use it for the team? Often people only hear what they’re doing wrong. This exercise emphasises what functions well and gives people a new perspective on themselves and others.
- DISC colours: The colours illustrate the qualities and pitfalls of the various team members and how they complement each other. We pay attention to the different relationships in a team. How do we relate to each other? How do we work together? The DISC team wheel clarifies your strengths and weaknesses as a team.
- What’s great, what needs to be improved and what’s not needed any more? This interactive exercise clarifies the things you can be proud of as a team, which areas need more attention and which activities can be stopped to create time and energy for issues to be improved.
- Outdoor: Team members experience live what ‘works’ and what ‘does not work’ in the team. Team patterns become visible in a confrontational but pleasant way.
- Development of vision and purpose: A shared direction means you can achieve more together. Why are you a team? What’s the added value to the organisation and the various team members? Using creative exercises involving all team members (not just the more dominant members of the group), the added value of your team becomes clear for everyone.
Our programmes are always tailor-made to match the actual issues in your team, or organisation.
